Hi,
The story is indeed true. The area was sealed off from last Wednesday until friday.
Your map however is wrong. The Lucas Court flats are on Winchfield Rd, which runs behind Home Park at the Lower end of Sydenham. The shooting however, happened on the Kent House Road side of the flats.

Sorry, it should read, Kent House LANE side of the flats.
