Yes it is NOT being done less. How many times have you or anyone here been stopped and searched in the last ten years?
I went to Bournemouth vs Fulham 20 years ago with a friend of mine who lives in Sydenham. Out of the Fulham fans ONLY ONE was searched. My mate. Only ONE of the Fulham fans was BLACK.
He has not yet been sentenced......on that day was a pre sentence hearing...i believe a report was made from probation services to say if a psychiatric assessment was needed.i will try to find out tomorrow when he is now going to appear for sentencing.
I have just heard that Campbell will be sentenced on 16th july........i don't know what the delay was but i guess as hes in custody they just fit it in around other court listings.i will post the sentence as soon as i hear .
i believe the crime carrys a possible life sentence. The judge said he will be away for many years, possibly with a minimum term recommended and the possiblility of his release only once he has proved that he is no longer a danger to the public....fingers crossed!
Throw away the key,if i had my way i would send him to somalia and let the pirates deal with him.
I never understand why a crimianal goes to court to find out when his court date is for sentencing? Must cost money to do it twice? Why not just deal with it on the first court appearance?
The jury heard that Campbell had a record which included 6 counts of carrying a knife in a public place,2 counts of robbery at knifepoint and 2 counts of GBH with intent where he had got into an argument on a bus with a man who "looked at him in the wrong way"The argument continued on the pavement after Campbell followed his victim off the bus and pulled a knife on him...he stabbed this victim 5 times including once to the chest, then also stabbed another victim in the chest when he tried to help his friend.......Campbell had pleaded guilty to all these offences which was a point that he had tried to use in his own defence!!
The judge stated Campbell had proved himself to be someone who habitually carried a knife and would not hesitate to use it if he felt "disrespected"...it was for that reason he considered Campbell to be a risk to public safety....that is why im confident he will be getting a long sentence.....i hope so anyway because i feel sure he will continue until he kills someone !!!
The jury returned within 1/2 hour with a unanimous verdict of Guilty

How does he know if I mean the return of the jury within half an hour was doing their duty well , or whether convicting him was a duty well done?
I do hate it when people try to stop freedom of speech.
I will say what I want, not what you do/dont want to hear.
So stick that in your pipe!
Haha, probably Eagle,
Its people like that who make every word a problem, you get to the point where you are wary about writing anything in case it offends someone.
I could have said " He should be hanged for his crimes" but I resisted! ;0))
