Im quite new to this forum, just curious if anyone here is likely to be entering in the "Kirkdale Village" Quiz at the Bricklayers Arms (Tuesday 26th June) at 8pm.....I've been told by a reliable source there is no football on this night!
Kirkdale Village’s First Pub Quiz will be held on the 26th June (no footie on this day!) at 8pm, Bricklayers Arms, 189 Dartmouth Road.
We would love to have road teams so round up your neighbours and represent your road, bring along all your supporters and lets make an evening of it! 6 people per team £1pp entry – proceeds will go towards the Kirkdale Village Street Beautification Project.

Can individuals just turn up on the day and join a team, as happens with the SydSoc quizzes? I can't pre-book, as I'm not sure what my work load will be that day.
No need to stress. I have a few neighbours coming along (6 ATM), but we can always split/merge teams to incorporate individuals.
Just get there a few minutes early so we can arrange teams.
I am thinking of coming down with a few of my mates/fellow neighbours - Team Kirkdale although I'm sure that road is already taken! At the most there will be four of us - can we stick to a team of four?? If not, happy to welcome individuals to our team.
Are we talking general knowledge questions? And I'm hoping it will be relatively easy...?! My strengths tend to lie in pop music, picture rounds and questions involving David Hasselhoff.
Kirkdale team is more than welcome if there are more than one we will give you alternative funky name! Ideally a team of six but we will have individuals that need teams we can add in .
I'm writing the questions so I can confirm there will be a good mix including picture round and some questions around local knowledge! Looking forward to seeing you all there tomorrow

It was great to meets lots of nice people and see so many streets represented.
We raised £183.00 to go towards street beautification!
I hope we can do another quiz in the future, I think we'll try and sort another speaker for the PA system as I was aware there were some problems with sound, otherwise, we'd welcome any feedback you may have!
