Not a surprise, I walked through that park on Monday evening heading to Penge East station from Lower Sydenham and it was heavily flooded in the lower corner of the park.

A cyclist wizzed past and slammed on his breaks when he saw the flooding, guess it would have gone beyond getting wet legs going through it. :)

That was our cricket ground 50 plus years ago.

Do not like to be pedantic but it is not and has never been referred to as a Park.
