Alexandra Park: Drain control van gets stuck in water

Alexandra Park, 6:30pm this evening.

Not a surprise, I walked through that park on Monday evening heading to Penge East station from Lower Sydenham and it was heavily flooded in the lower corner of the park.

A cyclist wizzed past and slammed on his breaks when he saw the flooding, guess it would have gone beyond getting wet legs going through it.

That was our cricket ground 50 plus years ago.

Do not like to be pedantic but it is not and has never been referred to as a Park.
