Former Thai Restaurant Kirkdale/Fransfield Grove junction

Does anyone know the history of the former Thai restaurant on the corner of Fransfield Grove & Kirkdale?

I believe it's been empty and boarded up for at least ten years now & I was wondering who owned it. (& asking here to try to save on Land Registry search fees!)
