Celebrate Real Nappy Week at one of Lewisham’s events. Using real, washable nappies rather than disposables can save hundreds of pounds and helps save the environment.
Nappy Info stall:
Friday 20 April, 11-3pm
Lewisham Market
Representatives of the Washable Nappy Company will be on hand providing information.
Real nappy, maternity and baby wear swap
Saturday 21 April 2-6pm
Leemore Central Community Hub, Bonfield Road, Lewisham SE13 5EU
Bring along your nearly new baby and maternity items to swap. Lots of nappies will be given away and there will be drinks, tea, cakes and real nappy information provided.
Nappy vouchers worth £25 will be available for residents that attend either event with proof of address and pregnancy (MATB1 form) or with a baby under 18 months of age with his or her birth certificate.
Great Diaper Change record attempt
The take part in the Great Diaper Change record attempt on 21 April. This is an attempt to break a world record across the globe and has to happen at 5.30pm to be official!
