Bit wishy washy,
I like to see the union jack in all its glory (or not if we lose)
its one of the most striking flags, and yet we get a kit that is almost colourless.

Nothing to get excited about.

This was an opportunity to display the UK's creative industries to the world, one which is worth billions to the UK economy.

It's an opportunity wasted.

Maybe you could do a makeover!

But being serious,
Im sure there are many many designers out there that could have done us proud,
Sometimes people just seem to get on in this life through who the know - not what they know,
I would have preferred to see a new young designer given the chance to show us how it could be done.

Well, Stella is a great designer, she is a fantastic international ambassador for British design and fashion. I'm surprised what she has done is so ordinary. But anything creative touched by politics or public voting generally ends up being watered down and dull.

Sometimes that doesn't happen, but having worked with the government on a few projects in the past, as a rule, the more they get involved, the worse it gets.

Perhaps that was the case here.
