Here you see some 21 rhubarb crowns of various sizes which I've just split off from some old crowns, which will have been propagated itself in the same way, ultimately from rhubarb my grandfather had in Dagenham during the Blitz. It makes me feel oddly patriotic
Dig them into your garden, and in a year's time they could be looking like this, ready for rhubarb to eat from April through to July

A gardener once told me that it was best to put horse manure on rhubarb,

Just to say that JRobinson probably took the remaining viable crowns yesterday, so the rest will soon be going for compost.
