URGENT - EPC help please

I had an EPC done on my home in april 2010 but the company I used has gone under and I can't get access to my EPC. I have someone coming to do a new one tomorrow at 10 am but then on moneysavingexpert someone told me that I can "just ask any EPC provider to go into the register of EPC and locate a copy for you. many will."

Do any of you do EPC's know someone who does EPC's so that I can get my EPC without having to pay for a new one tomorrow morning?

Do you know if the report was actually recorded on the registry?

I know nothing by the way.
