Activities planner: Admin pls advise?

Post by Maria »

Admin: an advice, please?

Is it possible, technically, to start "constructing" a weekly table of all activities for local kids? There have been so many brilliant suggestions from so many people, it would be really useful to create a document accessible to everybody so we could add what we all individually know about and then go on to enlarge/update it as we go along. I don't suppose we are able to attach an A4 sheet... so could we start a planner thread kind of thing?

Wonder if I'm not making any sense...

And by the way - many, many thanks for this forum division, it is absolutely great to have it at last!

Could you not just have a public google calendar ?

People could add events and keep the link on a thread? Just a thought anyway.

Yes - we already do have a google calendar!

It is just that despite my pleas - people don't add their activities. It would be great to try again. I will put a sticky post and cross fingers. T'is in your hands ...

PS Syd Soc used to send me their events which I used to include but stopped ... so if a member could add those ...

HI,

I got official site for playgroups in Sydenham. Unfortunately as you can see, not so much to do.

http://www.lewisham.gov.uk/myservices/b ... 202012.pdf

I haven't been any of these, so if you have, please give me a feedback.

I'm going with my child to Honor Oak Park, Brockley, Crystal Palace, Croydon areas.

Regards,
Evelin

It was quite good, stay and play and a sing song. Nice people. But I was desperate for a coffee!!
However I went to a great thing called Teddybear Toddlers (I think) at Holy Trinity Church, off Sydenham Park, today.
Baby area, tea and coffee (yes yes yes!) kids snacks, and then toddlers run around and play within the church, which if you haven't been there, is effectively a hall.
10-12, term time Fridays. Very good and will definitely go back. And it has only been running a few weeks. More like a playgroup.
