Merry Christmas Robin.
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us. (John 1:14)

And we have beheld His glory,
glory as of the only Son from the Father,
full of grace and truth. (John 1:14)

In the beginning was the Word,
and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God. (John 1:1)

Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit.

And we have beheld His glory,
glory as of the only Son from the Father,
full of grace and truth. (John 1:14)

:)

And Happy Christmas to everyone as well from me - if it's not too late - with a snap from my Christmas morning walk

I like The Black Country. Good real ale and friendly people.
Brum OK in places but totally different from The Black Country ( I assume OK to still call it that as it has been known as that for well over 200 years )

As some people here will know, my first job after leaving uni was as a scarecrow. My patch, a cherry orchard in Worcestershire, had views across to the Malverns, with Elgar's birthplace just a mile away. With crows and other birds scared away, it was sometimes possible to imagine Elgar on the soundtrack ...

I often wonder when I am going to hear one of those infernal i pods on the bus playing Elgar.

It would be great compared to the rubbish we are subjected to.

Elgar Country. I should have recognised it
Housman, too:

Into my heart an air that kills
From yon far country blows:
What are those blue remembered hills,
What spires, what farms are those?

That is the land of lost content,
I see it shining plain,
The happy highways where I went
And cannot come again.
