The Bridge leisure centre
Went for my regular swim yesterday - my first visit since Fusion took over the management. First impressions very favourable - front hall seemed unusually spic and span, was offered and swiftly provided with a new membership card to replace my battered old one, the attendants in the main pool were being tested on their lifesaving skills as I came out of the water.

My cousin is a lifeguard there.
The worrying thing is that they weren't being tested on their life saving skills - they were still undergoing their training.
It's a concern that the lifeguards are not yet fully qualified, yet the pools are still open

The bloke who seemed to be in charge certainly told me they were being assessed rather than trained - but perhaps he was just trying to be reassuring!
