Can anyone help me. I am looking for the Sydenham Rotary Club or similar organisations in Sydenham.

I would appreciate any help.

The Rotary Club of Forest Hill & Sydenham closed in 2004 after 68 years of service including sponsorship of the massive Crystal Palace Fireworks and this little website - not to mention the Rotary Centre in Sydenham.

But there are 80 or so traditional Rotary Clubs left in London. The nearest are :
* Dulwich & Peckham
* Penge
* Crystal Palace & Norwood
* Catford

Contact info for all but Catford can be found at http://www.rotaryinlondon.org/. Catford perversely insists on being in Kent!

What a shame the Forest Hill & Sydenham rotary no longer exists.

I am looking to contact local business people or local organisations/societies regarding fund raising for an event in Sydenham that is happening next April.

Is there any other group or organisation whom I can approach with local interests at heart?

I am not a 'business person' as such but I have just found out that I have a place in the London Marathon 2007 and am hoping to raise money for a worthy cause. If your cause is worthy enough I may be able to help you. I thought it would be nice to support a local cause if possible (ie. if its worthy enough!).
