Sydenham to Central London Covered Road

Hello,

I'm hopeful someone on here will know what I'm talking about.

Some time ago, I remember seeing an artist's impression for a covered road / railway from sydenham all the way to central london. It was similar in appearance to the inside of the Crystal Palace - i.e. a large arch.

It was obviuosly never built, but I found the idea of it fascinating and just hope that someone has some further information.

Nevermind!

Just spoken with someone in the office about this who suggested looking up 'The Great Victorian Way'. This was what I'd seen before, and obviously over the years my mind has brought in a Sydenham involvement.
