Lewisham Council have included a handy guide to all the different districts under their watch which includes Sydenham and the above video of the high street improvements.
I can't wait for them. One point worth noting is 0.27 where trees infront of the Naborhood centre look like they will block the view of the mosaic for passing traffic and anyone not on the same side of the road. Not that that's a bad thing of course.
Hopefully the trees will stay. They look great.
Many of the links are great and it's nice to see them include this forum and the various park blogs such as Friends of Home Park and some nice historical pictures of Sydenham.
Anyway, have a look:

SYDENHAM ROAD IMPROVEMENTS
Re: SYDENHAM ROAD IMPROVEMENTS
Hi Lee but when will it start/finish?
Re: SYDENHAM ROAD IMPROVEMENTS
Thanks for the links Lee,
The best out of all of this for me, are the roundabout and the trees, they will help a lot in making Sydenham look a better place to shop/live

Re: SYDENHAM ROAD IMPROVEMENTS
As part of any street improvements, how would people here feel about commercial sponsorship on street planting? How would Lewisham Council feel? I noticed this recently in LB Bromley
I'd like something like this if it was promoting a local business or social enterprise, not just to be local for its own sake, but because a local organisation would have a direct interest in making sure any planting associated with them stayed looking good.
