Steady mummycat with the great unwashed of Brixton.

Someone I work with actually come through there on a bus this morning, said BH looked more like the amazon, appears it is a very bad burst water main as it may be affecting lots of areas in SL

Hmm. Water here was off for several hours yesterday then off again during the night, then back on. Water vans parked but no-one in them yesterday no any perceivable activity, although I did catch up with a water person later who advised that it was a backlash from the burst main in Brixton. He was in the process of running the water away to get the air bubbles out, now having been ostensibly fixed.

Still getting an odd splutter, but no obviously dirty water which can sometimes happen so not too bad (=happy bunny) as last year "muck" clogged up the boiler, washing machine and dishwater filters and lots of pennies to get those cleaned (water board denying all knowledge). The repair seems OK this time, so fingers being kept firmly crossed for the moment.

I guess it teaches us not to take things for granted versus others who suffer disasters in the world. Equating that to cost and service etc, I don't even want to go there.
