Anyone know a good chiropractor?
I would like to know if somebody has had a major injury healed in under 5 sessions... most chiros are out to rinse people, so I'm very cautious. It's all about word of mouth... so who can recommend a good, honest one?

Daniel Harvey, a chiropractor in East Dulwich fixed my back recently. (Tel 020 8693 1115). I didn't have a 'major' injury though, but my back hurt alot and he fixed it in time for the london marathon.
I did visit more than 5 times though - probably more like 8 times. I never got the impression that he tried to make me go there any more than was necessary and I went the maximum number of times because I was desperate to get better in time for the marathon.
Although its perfectly possible that you could get better in 5 sessions it would totally depend on the injury. I don't think any decent chiropractor would guarantee to get you better in 5 sessions, only a charlatan would do that!

I know what you mean about chiropractors, they do tend to string you along for a series of sessions and the only really good one I found selfishly returned home to Australia.
Last year someone recommended an osteopath, Mark Little (tel 8659 1210, he is the Back Pain Clinic on Kent House Road) and I would highly recommend him. The treatments from a chiropractor and osteopath are essentially the same, the main difference is that the osteopath gives you more exercises to do at home – which means fewer visits.

Like Juwlz, I would recommend Daniel Harvey too. I put my back out pretty badly about three years ago. I tried a couple of osteopaths and another chiropractor but was highly unimpressed by some of the quacks out there. Daniel did a great job and gave me some good advice. I now go back every four months for a "check up" and I've not had any major problems in that time. I have suffered a fair bit in the past so I find the preventative tune-ups to be value for money.

I go with Ms. Katherine Butler she's really an ideal Chiropractor Hampshire base. In my 1 year of being treated with her, I find myself always in good condition. They're such a really good chiropractors out there. Everytime I'm going to play basketball, I cannot afford not to go to hiltingbury chiropractic for my body will be so painful and only their special therapy can heal it.
