Hello

Great to see some top names hitting the Golden Lion!

Who do you have playing on Saturday 12th March, I think I saw that Siobhan Parr was playing, anyone else?

Cheers

Saw this guy in Wandsworth over the weekend. Really good! Has anyone involved with the Blue's night at the Golden Lion ever tried booking him? Would be well worth it in my opinion.

My two boys, only 6 and 9 are keen to experience live jazz but I'm struggling to find venues suitable for children. Some good concerts coming up at the Barbican and Southbank but they are either late or expensive. Will try to get to some weekend matinee shows over the coming months though.

Does anyone have any ideas? It's got to be good so that their interest is rewarded. They play trumpet and piano and are quite serious about it.

I expect the Golden Lion would not be suitable for youngsters?

Thanks.

There was free live jazz at both the Sydenham Garden Spring Fair last Saturday, and at the Kent House Leisure Gardens Open Day the day after. Fairly MOR, but seriously good musicians.

Paul

There is this free event as part of the Sydenham Arts Festival. At the Dolphin at 4 pm, so maybe more suitable for kids
