Thakeham Close
My sister is thinking about renting a flat in Sydenham, and has been looking at a couple on Thakeham Close. I was just wondering what this part of Sydenham is like, as I don't know it at all. Thanks!

Hi
It's a nice part of the area
http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=thakeha ... CBcQ8gEwAA
and as it's adjacent to a school it could be expected to be quiet at weekends and holidays.
Transport's pretty good nowadays too! Much better than it ever was till a couple of years ago.

That's a good location - walkable to Sydenham station and Crystal Palace, close to parks (Crystal Palace Park and Sydenham Wells), and near some decent bus routes (including the N3, N63, 176). Quiet, as not in the main part of town, but that means a longer walk to the shops.
