Do you mean the one next Kente a_baron?
If so, I was told it was going to reopen in the New Year, after refurbishment.

There's a nice-looking new place on the Kirkdale/Dartmouth roundabout that just opened last week.

Very bright fresh interior ...... no sign of refreshments though :(

The one near Trattoria has closed down. My wife used it a few years ago when the library was shut and before we had the internet. Apparently they were rude, refused to give a receipt she needed for expenses and were generally unfriendly and unhelpful. OK, they may have been having a bad day, but it may explain why it's no longer open!

If they refused to give a receipt, there may be other reasons they had to close :D

Oh has that gone?
Used to be run by a really nice Ehtiopian guy when it first opened. Was there recently and it had gone really downhill and wasn't doing any business.

They're Somalis actually, I knew them quite well. Bit of a drag now, not much in Sydenham at all in fact.

Yes sorry, he was Somali. He had a young son and used to work really hard. I see there was someone onsite today so maybe it will reopen.
