computer digital camera assistance required

I have a Nikon L3 Coolpix camera and recently bought an HP laptop.
I have lost the driver software for the camera and i can't play the video footage i recorded on my laptop.
I was able to do this on my previous PC, but it has died.

I have looked on the internet for free downloads, but can't find any.

any assistance would be appreciated.

Cheers for the advice eagle.
Being a technophobe, i still found the Nikon site somewhat confusing. However, it did persuade me to persevere and i have now downloaded Apple Quicktime, which plays the videos very well.
