Ann Pownall exhibition at Sugahill Cafe
Ann Pownall's exhibition opens today at The Sugahill Cafe on Kirkdale. The photographs of flowers are so vibrant and colourful they make you want our own summer to start soon so that our own gardens and plants can bloom as beautifully as Ann's photographs. Here is a taster of one of Ann's wonderfully detailed images: There are many more like this at Sugahill for the next 4 weeks.
Here's the image with the code for it, will hopefully pop down and see it.
Code: Select all

Bruce - I've just worked out how to do it after about 4 or 5 years of failed attempts!
What nobody told me is that the end of the link has to end in .jpg (or other image file type). When you import codes from Flickr or PhotoBucket, they add their own bits onto the end. I thought it was some kind of secret nobody would let me into...

For reasons toooooo complicated to explain here the sample of Ann Pownall's photographs I wanted to show you has been deleted. Sorry!
Thanks for all your suggestions tho - I'm currently trying to work out how to detach the keyboard from my laptop so I can shove it through the screen! ha ha
Back to Ann's photographs - I guess you will just have to visit Sugahill to see the originals. Sugahill's owner, Jasmine, tells me "people really seem to appreciate the display and that the photographs put a smile on her cutomers faces." Well done for that Ann.
Here's a link to Flickr (if it works)

It's really quite simple, Bruce. Open your laptop and seperate the screen from the keyboard by breaking the device over your knee. Balance the screen on your parted knees and then shove the keyboard through the screen.I'm currently trying to work out how to detach the keyboard from my laptop so I can shove it through the screen! ha ha.
And if you ask nicely, I'm sure Ann would be able to capture the moment and include it in her next collection.
Wadya think?
