funniest thing i saw on halloween was two inebriated males from the hostel on Dartmouth Road.
The two men, I would guess be in their 40's who looked not unlike the mitchell and webb characters in the link below

They had made a ham-fisted attempt at putting make-up on their faces and went to the local shop with a couple of empty carrier bags. They walked straight up the the shop owner and proudly announced. "Trick or Treat"
I guess you had to be there to appreciate the humour.

Not as funny as those two ghouls who were on X-Factor on Saturday night. The continued existence of them both on our TV screens is, indeed, in the trick category.
And yes, as soon as John & Edward starting to sing badly and out of sync [again] I switched over.
