Lewisham's Announcement:
The Lewisham Mayor`s Business Awards 2010 provide an opportunity for local businesses to gain recognition for their successes and to increase their profile within the community. There will be 10 categories in the 2010 awards including four new categories ‘Best Pub’ ‘Best Young Apprentice’, 'Best Employee', and ‘Enterprise Achiever’. Each award is sponsored and there will be prizes for the winners including a £5,000 cash prize for the overall winner.
Entries to nominate a business start on 18 November. The deadline to enter is 25 January 2010 and the ceremony will be held on 11 March 2010 at Blackheath Halls. Don’t miss your chance to shine.

Lewisham Awards - Support Sydenham Business!
You can nominate but I don't think you can vote. Get a set of nomination papers from Lewisham and help the Tratt to fill them in. Chat up Geraldine at the bookshop for tips when the judges come to visit. I'm sure some discrete lobbying may help.
