Hi, just to let you know that we are now broadcasting online for four evenings a week, starting tonight from 7.00 pm.
Tonight we have an interview with local singer Alex Carter, who is performing at the Golden Lion on Ocotber 10th, and Imani Jawarah Lindsay, a candidate for the young mayor of Lewisham.
We will now be broadcasting on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays on http://sydenhamradio.co.uk/listen/
In other community radio news: We have been granted an FM license by Ofcom to broadcast on FM for a month next July and are in the process of applying for a full time, five year medium wave license.
These are exciting times for the station and we are looking for new volunteers for help with all aspects of the station; from fundraising and web design to presenting and program making. Come and meet us at Here for Good, 17 Sydenham Road on Saturday 24th October between 10.30 and 12.30 or contact us at info@sydenhamradio.org.

Sydenham Community Radio now on air four nights a week
Tonight is my favourite night on Sydenham Community Radio: starts off with Sainty's soul and funk show at 6.00pm. Then its Terry Golbourne's Ska show from 7.00pm. At 8.00pm for two hours its Sugar Romantic B's musical showcase with street soul and lovers rock. A great soundtrack for Saturday night.

Just giving this thread a not so gentle bump, by way of a reminder that SCR is there for you, later today.
We'll be live in that lull between the kids working out that the box is better play value than the toy that was in it, and the Queen's speech, just about the time that you'll be hauling yourself round the table for too much food!
So, put away the 'Now, That's What I Call The Best Christmas Album In The World........Ever (part 96)' CD and support your local Josh Dickeys.
Apart from emailing in with your requests/messages at the usual address (studio@sydenhamradio.co.uk) we have provided for the more technically advanced listener with a text number: 07757 858083
So give us a listen between 12 and 3, and get in touch, just remember to put your name somewhere in the message.
Happy holidays folks
