Local historian Steve Grindlay is doing a talk this evening at Kikdale Bookshop, Kick off 7.30pm. The subject is musicians and artists with a connection to Sydenham.
Due to unforseen circumstances, i'll just giving one ticket back to the Bookshop in the hope there may be a person turing up on a speculative basis. (actually, I don't know if it is a sell-oout), but apparently there may be spares available on the door........get there early if you haven't got a ticket

Thanks for the additional information Pat. I was tempted to put the spare seat on Ebay where it would surely have trounced any Michael Jackson memorabilia.
We really enjoyed the evening, but as ever, Steve collects vast amounts of information and we inevitably ran out of time. I am posting some photos of the evening, so you can see the master at work......
The Evening begins
Camille Pissarro
The Master at work
Can I also Thank Kirkdale Books for their hospitality and excellent efforts , not just with this event, but with the whole arts festival.
Well done Steve. Another top talk[/b]
