I wonder whether Lewisham's council realise how dangerous these obstructions are not only to the visually impaired. While they consider this (should they ever choose to) perhaps they could also look at those ugly monstrosities they derive an income from which obstruct the footpaths at periodic intervals (advertising stands).
One trader, in particular, has been complained about (not by me I hasten to add) for decades and still nothing seems to be done.
