Postcards of the Palace with lightening overhead.

I am informed that the owner of the Chemist shop, who, was a keen photographer took them from his window. His shop was next to the Post Office in Beckenham Road, on the corner of Barnmead Rd. Without looking at Kelly’s Directories I would say that they were taken possibly in the 30s. I can just about see a shop called Northams.

Anyone know anything about the cards? I have seen an enlargements made of the cards inside a frame.
