Police have cordened off an area of forest hill station with two policemen standing guard. No further information available.

We can see it but it's nothing serious enough to warrant an evacuation of the station, and trains are still stopping in both directions. The area cordoned off is right at the Croydon end of Platform 1, the London-bound side.

Whsmiths is also closed and cordened off with a sign saying "closed due to security incident"

Wonder what that was then? I left work shortly after my last post on this thread, and it didn't really affect Southern anyway.
