Has anyone else experienced problems with the local water supply? We live in Peak Hill Gardens and on arriving home this evening we had no water. No information or anything through the door and nothing reported on the Thames Water Website or on the main customer service line when you first get through before you go in the general queue to await your turn.
We were kept in a queue - on the customer support/advice line for 20 minutes before anyone answered the call. We were informed there was a burst mains 'in the area' and that they were working on it.
The water came back on at about 8.00pm for a couple of hours and has now been cut off again.
I would be interested to know how far this problem has reached in terms of the surrounding area. I know my immediate neighbours have been affected.
