Sydenham Photos
I'm not entirely sure this is appropriate but I have just started a photo blog on Sydenham.
I'm a photojournalist and humourist and recently moved to the neighbourhood and will be posting regularly an eclectic mix of Sydenham related photographs and videos should anyone be interested.
http://sydenhamshots.blogspot.com
It's brand new and will take a wee while to evolve but I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Eventually it may be of historical use as the place changes over time.
Good night.

Sydenham and Forest Hill Local History blog
It is appropriate, and I'll certainly follow it.
I hope you'll forgive me for using this opportunity to mention my own blog. It is solely concerned with the local history of Sydenham and Forest Hill. Unlike you I am definitely not a humorist (local history, after all, is a serious subject!).
I also have an extensive collection of postcards and other images of the area, a small proportion of which are on Flickr.

A wealth of information
Wow! Steve, what a wealth of history you have compiled. I must set aside some time to spend learning about this place.
Sydenham and Forrest Hill are lucky to have you. Your dedication is inspirational.
Best,
Paul Treacy

Thanks, lambchops, I've downloaded the document. It has over 50 pages of detailed advice although, as you say, it all boils down to inbound links and content.
PS. I've not been called "grinds" since I was at school, when it was occasionally used in the sense of someone who is "affected or boringly studious". Are you trying to tell me something?

"grinds"
Well, aren't you? Your postings on Sydenham and Forest Hill are incredible. And very, very studious.

Perhaps. I do enjoy lambchops' Australian humour.
