Yep, tomorrow is twelfth night and time to get rid of that christmas tree.
Lewisham Council has Christmas tree collection points at various sites around the borough throughout January. Last year more than 7,000 Christmas trees were collected, which were chipped and used as mulch in various parks around the borough.
Christmas trees can be deposited up until 30 January 2009. Local places are:
o Sydenham Wells Park - entrance Wells Park Road, SE26
o Mayow Park - entrance in Mayow Road, SE23
