What. has he actually gone to bed? He's only been on here four days yet he's just achieved his 50th post. How many keyboards is this guy gonna get through? In future, it's surely going to be like reading the whole of the Sunday Times just from a week of his posts, this forum will never be the same! Listen, guys, we'll have to put a stop to this. We need 20 of us to go down to Sydenham station in the morning, each of us carrying a poster with a large letter on it. Then we'll all line up in front of the CCTV cameras so it'll read BARTY - SHUT THE **** UP! Do you think he'd get the message, or is there a danger that for revenge he might increase his output to 100 posts per four days? Never mind the forum, there isn't enough space on the whole of the internet to archive it all! That Chinese virus that corrupted Microsoft this week, you ain't seen nothing!

Thanks to those that came along last night. London Pride seems to go down very well with me. Some people may be pleased to know i made it home OK (without tripping base over apex).

and Barty can probably vouch that we're not necessarily sinister faceless people and that the company was very pleasant. The next meet is likely to be in the New Year.
Personally, i would like someone else to suggest a venue. Thinking aloud, I think Bensonby should give it a go. The Golden Lion perhaps.....

I was ready to run at one point, when someone said "ahhh, you're the one who works for Southern" but yeah, would like to have stayed a bit longer.

Next time, definately :-)

Thanks to all those who came along - it was good fun and nice to meet people. That last game of naked twister was a bit too much though!

Looking forward to the next meet-up.

you got a bit angry with the doors as you were leaving. what was all that about?

i think we should set up a ring in the middle of sydenham road so we can watch nasser and bensonby go at it over the demise of the traditional british pub vs the dolphin!

Yeah, I had a few problems opening the doors on the way out - I think they need fixing!

I reckon some sort of debate as part of the Sydenham Arts Festival would be good. Cheap and easy to do, and I'm sure people would pay good money to watch Bensonby and Nasaroc cross swords. Are you guys up for it???

Maybe i'm misunderstanding something,...but are you guys suggesting a play-off of naked twister with Bensonby and Nasaroc?
Or perhaps it was Thomas' suggestion of crossing swords that put an indelible image in my head.

was good to see you all...I think I left a little tipsy...and have vague memories of arguing with Nasaroc.... (nothing new there then  )
