Tennis?????????

Hi, anyone had any experience with either Sydenham or Beckenham Tennis clubs? Interested in hearing views on lessons for total beginners, both children and adults ie , just about know (I think) what end of a racket to hold. Thanks

"Beginners" night at Sydenham Tennis club is on Wednesday evening starting around 7pm (although you can turn up later). Just turn up and ask for Geoff. You can come along for a few Wednesdays and see how it goes before joining. All it costs is a couple of pounds donation for lights.

Even if you can't play, you won't be embarrassed - there are some truly horrific players at these sessions.

Yes - runs right through the winter.

LC - perfectly happy to take you out for a "run-around" anytime you like. Probably see you on Friday and we can arrange a time then.

Yeah, I used to live opposite the Sydenham one, very clicky bunch. I didn't feel very comfortable there.
