Sydenham Snow Picture comp this winter?

Post by Tim Lund »

Some us use were thinking earlier this year of getting up some local fund raising Xmas cards using snow scenes. Nothing came of it because we were a bit late, and not many of the pictures we found were good enough - in terms of composition or image size. Here's one of mine that failed (because of image size, I'd like to think, but at least it won't slow down your internet connection)

Okay - I know the snow this morning isn't that much, and the light is still quite poor, but maybe this can set some of you thinking, and if we get a better fall, and a bright day, see if you think you can take a decent Christmassy piccy. Pm me or Juwlz - any time this winter

Mayo Park, facing north from the near the tennis court, probably last winter. Nice photo Tim. I'll certainly take my camera out next time it snows.

Compliments gratefully received. If you copy the link of the photo, you'll see a clue to it having been taken Easter Sunday - this year. That's why you have the rather unlikely new leaves framing the top of the picture!
