Just wondered if anyone goes to any of the classes at the Sydenham Dancentre in Champion Road, in Lower Sydenham? I was thinking of giving ballroom a go just for something a bit different, and would be grateful if anyone could tell me what it's like?
Also, what's the age group in general, or is it mixed?
Thanks.

They evolved from the Jimmy Smalls Dance Centre, previously located adjacent to the station (above the shops on Station Approach). They've got a website:

The age group is very varied - because of Strictly Come Dancing! There are teenagers and early 20s, but they are usually couples, otherwise it is the whole range. The singles usually are in the 30-50 age group. Most classes average between 20 and 30 people, as you cannot teach effectively above that number.
