Kirkdale Bookshop's 55th Birthday!
Hello everyone! We're turning 55 in October so we're throwing a party on Saturday 9th October!
We'd love to see you all there.

Congratulations. Whilst I don't have any specific recollection of the opening 55 years ago, when I was aged 13, I do recall many visits to the bookshop from that time. Not that I was a good customer, pocket money rarely extended to buying books. Anyway, in those days, libraries were more the thing.
I did poke my head round the door in 2017 whilst sorting probate for my mother. No doubt I offered you a few of her choicest books.
