Milverton House, Perry Hill

Hi,
My parents lived at 17 Milverton House (opposite the gas works) from the early 1960's to early 1970's. Our family name is Lane, aand my brother Gary and I went to St Michaels Primary School in Sydenham, then Forrest Hill School. Many happy childhood days, and I'm guessing the area has changed dramatically as I left in 1972 to join the military and only returned a few times on leave before my parents moved to Westwood Hill. Also happy memories of the shops in lower/Upper Sydenham and the Granada cinema.
Hopefully someone will remember me and my family?
