Low water pressure
Anyone else with low pressure all of a sudden? Cobbs Corner area? Nothing showing on Thames Water site.

Re: Low water pressure
Seems to be back to normal now. But yeah, saw the Lawrie Park Road closure...
Re: Low water pressure
Apparently we had it earlier, too, so it must have hit the Penge side.
Re: Low water pressure
Ours went off altogether for about 12 hours a few days ago due to a mains pipe in Newlands Park. Haven't been monitoring pressure today so can't comment.
Re: Low water pressure
Boy, the water pressure was low this morning. Switched on the shower so I could wash my hair, and the low-pressure warning light immediately came on. No water.

Re: Low water pressure
On Friday 6th a water pipe burst by the junction of Lawrie Park Road and Crystal Palace Park Road so we have that causing low pressure now after they had literally just resolved the previous low pressure that morning.alywin wrote: 8 Dec 2019 23:24 Boy, the water pressure was low this morning. Roadworks website says this is expected to finish on Thursday 12th.
Re: Low water pressure
Oh great, thanks for the info. Should hopefully be sorted by now, more or less, then.

Re: Low water pressure
I drove past where the burst main was last night and it was all back to normal, all roadworks gone. My shower seemed a lot better for it this morning... finally after 3 weeks with very low pressure.alywin wrote: 12 Dec 2019 00:16 Oh great, thanks for the info. Re: Low water pressure
And to add insult to injury, the water pressure has really gone again
Re: Low water pressure
As if things could not get any worse - water pressure reduced to a trickle - Byne Road SE26 at 1.52 am

Re: Low water pressure
When I first turned my taps on this morning they spat and sputtered for quite a while but seems fine now.
Re: Low water pressure
Apparently it was a leak test they were doing - presumably thought nobody would be wanting water at 1 am! I was a little freaked given the current situation and the fact that we had no water at all put by, so no handwashing ...
Re: Low water pressure
That explains why my dishwasher, which runs on a timer in the wee hours, had thrown up an inlet fault message overnight.
Re: Low water pressure
I can currently hear what sounds like drilling going on somewhere in the vicinity of the "Venner Road toastrack". In my experience, drilling this late at night tends to mean emergency water works. We'll see.
