I'd like to hear what readers thought about the video news regarding the meeting between the Mayor and Southern staff in relation to the side gate at Sydenham railway station.

Well done, Sean, and thanks for letting us see the railway officials do some squirming for a change.
Would that common sense had ruled the day, from day one - so much time and trouble would have been saved achieving the moral high ground that we knew from the start was ours!
The community, its elected political representatives, and its local community representatives (the Sydenham Society) have worked together to achieve a good result for us all.
Well done everyone - and especial thanks to Nasaroc who keeps his eye on the NR/TfL ball on our behalf.

Aye, well done all. I'm really glad I attended and put my point across.
Sean - good video and editing. And, IMO, very balanced (I didn't see/hear first hand the objections of the Peak Hill people so it's important that this was recorded too). I also feel that by having their statements professionally recorded on video helped to apply pressure on Southern to expedite a reasonable decision.
