its a fete-cum-festival thingie.... I've never been, but I'm going this year as I'm working there.

I'm definitely going. I saw Paprika Balkanicus earlier this year at the Royal
Festival Hall Ballroom and they are fantastic. Everyone was dancing. Check out their My Space site!

Also the Zong Zing Allstars are a great Congolese dance band
and Cut a shine are a really good barn dance band with callers. They were
at a folk festival at Cecil Sharp House earlier this year.

I'll be there -I want to see Magda Sinit, a young band from the area who
did really well in a Channel 4 show a few months ago. Lots of bad press is given to young people these days and it's nice to see positive stuff coming from the area.

I have never been as i always used to work the weekends.

My Best friend always goes and takes her two young girls and they always have such a great day. She informs me that there is always so much to see and do and if it don't rain is a great day fro all the family.
