Hi, I need a new hob fitted, can anyone recommend a corgi registered gas engineer.

One I know lives miles away so probably costlier than finding someone local. Corgi has been replaced by Gas Safe Register incidentally, so, if no recommendations, you should find one on here: https://www.gassaferegister.co.uk/

Come to think of it, my gas fire could do with a service, if anyone knows anybody who does that?

I don't know for sure, but by virtue of their name alone I'd imagine ProGas in the high street could do it - if so I can't recommend them highly enough.
