Many thanks to everyone who came along to the first Sydenham Assembly meeting and I am now sending out invitations to the next meeting. The headline priorities for Sydenham from the meeting are:
• More visible police
• Safety when crossing the high street
• More quality shops
• Shop displays not to obstruct the pavement
• More publicity about young activities
• Effective action against anti-social behaviour
• Cleaner streets
• Improve communication on local activities and services
We have an online survey http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=u ... 0wGQ_3d_3d on whether you agree with these priorities and also to add any others for feedback at the meeting next Thursday. The first part of the meeting will be a feedback panel and then we will hold the round table discussion groups on local priorities. At the meeting we will develop the Sydenham Priority Plan which will include actions for our partners such as the police. We will also discuss ideas for the £10k Locality Fund.
What are your views on the priorities - and what action do we need to take to improve Sydenham?
Everyone welcome on Thursday 5 June - 7pm at the Grove Centre in Jews Walk.
