Sidney Hodgson, in his articles and notes, refers to this "1723 map" on a number of occasions in reference to such things as a pound located near the junction of Kent House Road with Beckenham Road, and even 2 field names. Therefore, it is my guess that this map is of the prized estate map style, thrown down on a piece of linen--needs to be located ASAP! What institutions should I target first?
