The plans for the redevelopment of St Philip Neri school are now available online at Lewisham planning. Residents of Fairlawn Park need to check them out for possible noise, traffic and parking problems, especially those whose homes back onto the school site.

Redevelopment of St Philip Neri school - Fairlawn Park
Re: Redevelopment of St Philip Neri school - Fairlawn Park
I like the building.
I think ti looks great. The exterior play areas look really exciting and well designed. I hope they go with the brick wall line at the base of the building though and choose nice colours for the windows. Overall it's a well designed school that performs a need.
The only issues would be the moving of the playground, as this ail back directly onto peoples gardens. But the school has been there for years, as long as this is thought through with the planning in regards to noise, I don't see a problem.
I hope it gets the go ahead.

I back on to the school and have no problem with building or playgrounds either. Nicer than the 60s low level shed things they have in current playground.
My only fear is that parking may be difficult due to trebling staff and children numbers and increased traffic on the main road.
