Forgot to mention on my other post about the cinema I used to work Sat & Sun in the Criterion - heady lovely days in about 1974-5. In the summer there were queues up the road and people came out of the Lion into the parlour. If you ever had a lovely toasted ham sanwich in there or cappucino served to you by a 16 year old gormless looking girl it was me - my favourite was and still is on the jukebox "House of the Rising Sun".
