We're pleased to announce the first of our summer Life Writing studios @the shop revolution, 167 Sydenham Road, on Thursday 25 June at 7pm.
Life Writing is the writing equivalent of the artist's life drawing class. We'll have two live models as well as music and picture prompts. Just watch and respond. There are drinks available and the opportunity to read your work, or have it read.
No experience necessary - Life Writing is a completely non-judgemental environment suitable for total beginners through to Nobel Laureates. It's a wonderful way to kick start a project, dabble with the empty page, or just enjoy the prompts and meet like-minded folk.

Hello Everyone,
Prompt Arts are excited to announce our debut programme of Life Writing events this summer.
Life Writing is an entertaining twist on the traditional Life Drawing class. Using a mix of live actors, music and images to stimulate your senses and create a starting point - or prompt - for your work, we give you the opportunity to explore or develop your creative writing skills.
Our timed writing exercises are a brilliant way to engage your imagination, and give your creativity a kick start, allowing you to go away and continue your stories in whichever way you like.
A fun and stimulating night out, Life Writing is suitable for writers of all levels, and those who don’t consider themselves writers at all, from the complete novice to the Nobel Laureate - a sociable and enjoyable way to engage your brain.
After each session there will be the (voluntary) opportunity to share your work with the group or submit your work for publication in our online magazine.

Just a quick thank you to everyone who came to last week's event at the TSR.
Many people commented on how quickly the night went. Well, we're at the NOW Festival in Deptford next Thursday and two further dates in Deptford in August and September.
In the meantime, thank you Sydenham for being so promptable.
