Night Tube
Re: Night Tube
A bit annoying really. I think I had read somewhere that this was due to the need for evening work on the line going into London Bridge as part of Thameslink (although this sounds a bit like an excuse to me).
On the upside the tfl website does say:
'We also plan to expand the night time service to parts of the Metropolitan, Circle, District, and Hammersmith & City lines once our modernisation programmes are complete. Additionally, services could operate on parts of the London Overground in 2017 and the Docklands Light Railway by 2021.'

Re: Night Tube
There were no talks whatsoever of extending the night tube service on London Overground and therefore Sydenham. At least not until maybe 2017. It's just another example of how SE London is neglected, yet the fares are the same price as those within zone 3 in the rest of the capital that have real tube services.
