I applied a security upgrade to the phpBB software. The board was offline for a few minutes.

We had a nasty attack on the server last night (while I was pleasantly Gurkha-ing). It didn't directly affect STF except by slowing things down a bit.
Hence I'm hardening the server against further attacks over the next few days. This means changing permissions and stuff. It may mean downtimes of a few seconds while I get things right. Don't panic!
It should not otherwise affect you and what you can do.
