Sunday lunch - Croydon. Need a reccommendation

Hi all, a friend will staying over at LGW on Sunday night and I thought we could meet halfway (she's not transport savvy but could get to Croydon). Does anyone know of a classy place where we could get a cocktail and a roast late Sunday afternoon? A posh pub would be ok, or a hotel.

try the Croydon Park Hotel. I seem to remember that they have a carvery on Sundays.

The Croydon Park is really excellent on Sundays and it goes on all afternoon! Buffet starters choice, carver plus vege options and vegetables. Desserts are less thrilling though! Cocktail choice is not bad
